Heart and Sew

Sewing from the Good of Heart.

Heart and Sew is a sewing ministry dedicated to using the love of sewing to help others. The creative projects that are sewn benefit shut-ins, those who are sick, children in need of winter gear, dementia patients, and many others.

Projects include:

• Comforters

• Lap quilts

• Hats, scarves, and mittens

• Fidget blankets that help to keep minds sharp

Join the fun!

Anyone is welcome to join the group if you sew or wish to learn. We’ll help!

Meeting place:

First United Methodist Church, 2nd floor of education building, in the Heart and Sew room.

Meeting days and times:

Wednesdays from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM. 

Donations are loved!

Donations of fabric (especially cotton), sewing notions such as thread, zippers, buttons, tools, etc. are needed. Financial donations are welcome, as well!  Contact the church office.
