Ways to attend services

A quick rundown:  #1  Starting May 2, 2021, Outdoors! In Leeper Park!  #2  Online or via telephone.  #3 ONLY if the weather outside is frightful:  We will relocate to the church sanctuary. Read more below.

FIRST  10 a.m. – Sunday, Worship Service in Leeper Park, not far from the church building. It’s a beautiful park near the river.  If it looks like inclement weather, we will worship back in the sanctuary. We will try to make that call by Saturday evening or by 8 a.m. Sunday morning, via social media and email.

Enjoy nature. Enjoy the fresh air.  Enjoy the message.

Bring a seat. Bring a blanket (for coldness or sitting.) Bring a coffee! 😉

Please note: Because we care for others of all types, all ages, all health conditions, it is required that all participants in this worship wear a face-covering/mask and to social distance. It’s just a good thing to do at this time.

Give yourself a bit of time to park. There are parking spaces at Leeper, yet there may be a bit of a walk to get to the worship area. Drop off your loved ones by the worship (Navarre Cabin) location. Please watch your step.

A reminder for those coming to in-person worship – social distancing and wearing a mask is required, we will not be singing or responding aloud during worship, no coffee/snacks, enter through the parking lot doors (the Main Street entrance will be locked), Pastor Matt will greet worshippers after the service from under the carport near the parking lot.  There will be bulletins available in the sanctuary for those attending in person. Please converse and visit outside before and following worship.

First Methodist is a history-making congregation.

Elevators:  We have two elevators accessible from our parking lot. The South elevator links you to the Sanctuary, Floor 1. The North elevator links you to the Church Offices and the Education Building.

Handicapped Access. Visitors with mobility concerns or who need handicapped access are encouraged to use our automatically opening entrance off the parking lot at the back of the church. Take the south elevator to Floor 1 for Worship.
